The steps are the same for both sizes of our Corporate Pocket Seal: the 1.58 inch (M1) and the 2 inch (M2). They differ only in the size of the die.

Step by step

  1. Unpack the seal: Your seal arrives packed as one unit. Remove the packing so you have its two parts: the inner part, which carries the engraved dies, and the holder.
  2. Find the holes and the teeth: The bottom of the inner part has two holes, and the bottom of the holder has two small "teeth" that fit into them.
  3. Close the inner part: Press it until its mouth is fully closed.
  4. Slide it in: Slide the closed inner part straight into the holder until the two teeth go into the two holes and it clips into place. Your company seal is ready for use.
  5. To store it: Close the inner part, slide it out of the holder, fit the two parts back together as they came, and fold them for safekeeping.

Two habits that keep it embossing cleanly

  • Make sure the inner part is seated properly in the holder before each use.
  • Emboss one sheet at a time. Stacked sheets give a faint, uneven mark.
